So tell me what you want, what you really really want...

One of our pictures in our guest bath...so beachy, dontcha think?
Palm tree picture, although I think I might replace it with something else palmy and put this with the other tree picture I have in the kitchen. Can't decide.
Now how did that get in here? He'll literally lie like that hinting at you to come pet his belly.
I caught him sitting like that.
It's Jabba the Hut.
Here's the seagull on the pier post and the shell candle holder. The candle is the scent called "Sun and Sand". Most appropriate. This is also in the guest bath.
I love this lighthouse decoration! Now I just have to paint the guest bath. I've got several shades of blue in mind: either Sunwashed blue, Skysail blue, or Ocean Ridge. I don't want the bathroom to look just like the office but it just might. All of these blues kind of have a different hue than the office so they may not look just like it. Either way, I think the next room to paint is the guest bath. It's gonna be an easy paint I think because the room isn't that big so it shouldn't take too long, hopefully. Now I just gotta get my motivation up.
Nothing much new has been happening here with us. I'm just counting the days down until summer vacation. Yesterday was interesting. I kept putting my foot in my mouth throughout the day. The girl that took Tom's spot (another Title I tutor that left on Friday for another higher paying job--which seems to be the trend around here) is the one I told ya'll about earlier that lost her baby the week before her due date (such a tragedy). She broke down crying yesterday morning and I'm guessing it was just another emotional relapse of what she had lost and the other title I ladies went to console her. I didn't know what to do or say so I just stayed sitting in my chair kind of at a loss for words. Later that morning, I sat next to her when I had a chance and just checked in with her and made sure she was okay. What does another person say to one who has just lost a baby? I don't know and it just made things worse as I was talking to her and I just couldn't SHUT UP! Argh...I was so frustrated with myself after that.
The next thing was when I said happy birthday to a teacher who's turning 50 this next week and her husband and some other teachers were wanting to throw her a surprise party. They were going to start out by taking her to a restaurant/bar for drinks (and she knew about the drinks but she thought they were going for another reason). Well, as I was leaving the school, I saw her in the hallway and said, "Happy Birthday!" and gave her a hug. She said her birthday isn't til Wednesday and I would see her. I said that it was an early birthday wish. Luckily, I didn't say anything about a party but the teachers that were standing around her and me gave me that look of panic like, "Shut up now while you're ahead!" hahahaha....I felt like such an IDIOT! I just had to get out that school before I got myself into anymore trouble. Oh well, I don't think she caught on anyway. I was able to play it off pretty well I think. WHEW!
Well, guess that's about it though. Nothing much else has developed here. I just thought I'd write since I haven't written for awhile. Sorry if it wasn't as interesting. :)
